Joey, we live in a really cold world with many cold people. That doesn't mean you have to be cold and play games like they do. I certainly don't and yes, I'm clingy and romantic- but that's a heck of a lot better than being a cold, heartless dog. We SHOULD have feelings and emotions in the modern world- what is life without love, without feeling for others?

Don't change your true self just because you're afraid you'll scare him (or anyone) off. You must always be yourself, or you'll never know if they like you for you or for the make-believe you.

hi there had a wee look at your blog I worked in The Cape many moons ago.Stayed in the Windward East condo's in Cocoa Beach
and done a lot of drinking in Castaways on the beach Jonathans in Merrit and the bars on the Bannana River.

Oh yes! Alligators LOVE water, so they will go anywhere when there is water. There is a river across the street from Home Depot behind the houses. But I was amazed because they don't usually walk that far away from the rivers. I suppose it was just so wet that it just didn't noticed. *shrugs*

I wish I was in England just to get out of this storm! Haha. It's pretty calm right now but still very cloudy. We're expecting thunderstorms for the next few days, so it will be while before the sun comes out. Gotta love Florida in the summer! Oh and the waters have receded in my area. Thank goodness!

Whoa! I didn't think we'd get gators up in that part of Merritt Island. Are you ok now? Some of our neighbours' homes have been flooded. Has the rain stopped now?

Can't you put something to stop the water from getting to the carpet? That mold is going to be a pain in the behind.

Wish you could be here so we could hang out. :(

It's alright, Andrea. To be honest, he IS a good guy. He's just confused right now and doesn't know what he wants. Also, he was the one who asked for the date, and I accepted. Perhaps I should've reminded you guys that. But either way, he is a good person. Don't be so angry with him. He didn't mean to hurt me. But he did apologize, and though we decided to just allow ourselves to drift apart, I have no regret in meeting him. He was fun to talk to, and he made me learn a lot about how to respect others and be patient with others. So...good things did come out of this. :) But I thank you for being worried & sticking up for me. You're the best friend ever! :) We need to hang out more!!!

I do too, but this show is HARD to do. We'd have to have the right people to do this show. And we all know that Solomon certainly would have made this show a BOMB, right? LOL...but I still want to sing "One Day More" and "I Dreamed a Dream." Such BEAUTIFUL & powerful music!!!

I am so sorry this happened, Joey. How could he even have accepted to go on a date with you when he obviously is still stuck on this other guy? I hope he stays in Lakeland and never messes with you again. No one should hurt you like that. You deserve so much more. Believe me, you will find someone worth it...when you least expect it. Really. Love is real and we can all find that one that we can love who will love us back. Also, I think I should make it a general rule to stay away from Bryans. Period.

Keep your chin up honey. This is the roughest part, but I know you can get through it.

ADHD is more of an attention issue. It is shown in studies that the child can't stay on one topic and has to be constantly moving around. I've done a study on it as well, and have seen it in grade school. Also, I took up an opportunity to go to a psychological study institute and there, I witnessed a child working on his math homework. Without warning, he just decided to drop the assignment and play with his dad's phone. To me, it does exist, but the media makes it to be much, much more than what it usually is. But that's just me...

Exactly. Children are supposed to have an active imagination because it's called "childhood" for a reason. ADHD doesn't even exist, I did a study of it, and it's just stupid bored parents wanting their children to stop bothering them. It's ridiculous. You shouldn't have kids if you're not going to properly take care of them. Aarg.

We should be using other fuels instead of gas, but our country has such deep and complicated connections with big oil that it is unlikely we will get out of this problem anytime soon. Yes, I wouldn't use credit cards. Anywhere. Unless it's $5 and you pay it off in order to get better credit. That's what I do.

They actually revived Les Mis this year, but the cast did such a horrible job that the show closed down in less than a month. Poor directing was to blame if you ask me. And I LOVE South Pacific! The music is very beautiful and it shows how love shouldn't be blocked by looks or ethnics. But to each our own! :)

Well, there you go- she did win! She is great- you need to get her Fantine from 1984- she was phenomenal! The Tony's should be better next year after Broadway gets its act together. I'm sorry I couldn't join you- I was wiped out from taking care of my nephew.

I can't stand South Pacific- far too politically correct in my opinion. I'd rather have Les Mis or The Sound of Music any day. I'll give you reasons for this on facebook sometime. :)

True. Same goes for magazines like Vogue or Seventeen. All flaunt sexuality so much. When I was in UK there was an advert for ice cream with a sexy woman next to it. Gimme a break- relating sex with ice cream. :(
